Position Overview
Leasing Consultant – Full-Time Opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic Leasing Professional to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding potential residents through the leasing process from start to finish. As part of the leasing team, you’ll help foster positive relationships with prospective tenants, give property tours, and assist in finding creative ways to market our community. You will also support the property manager with resident services, including helping with applications and move-ins, addressing any resident concerns, and managing lease renewals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet and engage prospective tenants to provide an overview of the community and its available units
- Conduct tours of the apartment community, showcasing available units and amenities
- Answer questions regarding leasing terms, pricing, and policies
- Assist with the leasing process, including review of applications, running background and credit checks, and preparing lease documents
- Provide customer service to existing residents by addressing concerns and facilitating maintenance requests
- Maintain knowledge of the local rental market and competitive properties
- Help manage marketing efforts, such as posting advertisements online, social media, and community outreach
- Track and follow up with leads to maintain high occupancy levels
- Collaborate with the property management team to meet leasing and community goals
What We are Looking For:
- A passion for learning and growing within the property management industry, with an eagerness to take on more responsibilities as you develop
- Strong sales skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to current and prospective residents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with residents and colleagues
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality is a plus
- A valid driver’s license with a good driving record and auto insurance
- Flexibility with scheduling, including availability to work weekends
- A high school diploma (or GED) with related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
