Position Overview

Maintenance Technician – Full-Time Opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician with a “Whatever It Takes” attitude to join our team! In this role, you’ll help maintain the physical upkeep of our community, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and meets company standards as well as local regulations. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of systems and tasks to keep our residents happy and our property in top condition.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
• Supporting the creation of a 24-hour on-call schedule and participating in emergency responses when needed, especially during snow, ice, or other on-site emergencies
• Working with the office staff to provide quick and efficient service for resident requests and maintenance concerns
• Helping with the inventory management of maintenance materials and supplies
• Contributing to the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and assisting with make-ready units and general work orders
• Performing regular inspections of buildings, including vacant units, to ensure everything is in working order

What We Are Looking For:

• A passion for learning and growing within the property management industry, with an eagerness to take on more responsibilities as you develop

• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and personal vehicle with auto insurance
• Must live within a 30-minute commute of the property
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Some previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field (apartment community experience is a plus)
• High school diploma or GED
